Streamer Hyubsama receives indefinite ban from Twitch

Twitch Streamer Hyubsama Indefinitely Banned from Platform

Twitch streamer Hyubsama has been banned indefinitely from the streaming platform. The ban comes after an incident involving fellow streamer crazy_japanese, although it’s unclear if this specific incident led to the suspension.

History of Controversies Surrounding Hyubsama

While this is Hyubsama’s first ban on Twitch, the South Korean streamer has been involved in multiple controversies throughout his streaming career. He gained initial popularity in 2019 by showcasing his daily life in Japan, and many of his clips went viral on the Livestream Fails subreddit.

Details of the Incident

During a stream on January 23, Hyubsama met crazy_japanese at a Tokyo bar. Several now-deleted clips from the stream showed Hyubsama repeatedly trying to touch crazy_japanese despite her attempts to stop him. He even followed her outside the bar and onto the street.

After being warned about the potential ban, Hyubsama eventually left the situation. However, much of the interaction was captured on footage and wasn’t deleted until several days later.

Hyubsama’s Indefinite Ban and Revoked Partnership

Four days after the incident, Hyubsama was banned from Twitch. The announcement came from the StreamerBans Twitter account, and CommanderRoot confirmed that the streamer’s Twitch partnership had been revoked. Hyubsama has yet to respond to the ban on his social media channels, and it remains uncertain whether he will return to the platform.
