Streamer commits to a 2-week livestream of Animal Crossing: New Horizons

A Dedicated Animal Crossing Fan Plans a Two-Week Livestream of New Horizons

An Animal Crossing enthusiast and streamer has committed to a non-stop two-week livestream of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

In these uncertain times, people are seeking content that can provide a distraction. Animal Crossing: New Horizons arrived at the perfect moment, offering fans an escape into a safer and more adorable reality. As reported by Nintendo Life, one streamer has decided to dedicate two weeks to continuously livestreaming Animal Crossing: New Horizons, giving viewers lengthy and charming entertainment.

TheMattyAP, an Australian Twitch streamer, recently completed a successful week-long livestream on his channel. Besides playing Animal Crossing, the streamer ate and slept on stream as well. And now, he’s taking it to the next level.

TheMattyAP plans to embark on another extensive livestream, this time lasting for a full two weeks. The stream is set to start on Friday, April 10, and everyone is welcome to join in the wholesome fun.

A non-stop, two-week stream is quite ambitious for any game, but Animal Crossing is known for its real-time progression. To progress in the game, players often have to wait until the next day or manipulate the Nintendo Switch’s internal clock by “time traveling,” a common technique among players. Given the current situation where many people are confined to their homes due to the pandemic, this choice is understandable. With a full two weeks ahead, TheMattyAP may not need to resort to time traveling at all, just like during his previous week-long stream.

You can find TheMattyAP’s first stream on his Twitch channel. The sequel stream will commence on Friday, April 10 at 2pm AEST.
