Streamer accused of hacking in Warzone allegedly subjected to shadow ban

Twitch Streamer Nadia Allegedly Shadow Banned from Call of Duty Warzone

Popular Twitch streamer Nadia has found herself in hot water as she is allegedly shadow banned from playing Call of Duty Warzone. While her account is under review for potential cheating, Nadia is still able to access the game and play. This comes after an ongoing conflict between Nadia and fellow Call of Duty streamer Censor, who accused her of cheating at the CoD Next event.

Conflict Emerges in the Call of Duty Community

The conflict between Nadia and Censor started when Censor, an aspiring Call of Duty League player, created a list of alleged cheaters in Warzone. Nadia, a popular Twitch streamer, was included in this list, accused of hacking at the CoD Next event. However, it was later revealed that this accusation originated as a joke.

Nadia’s Alleged Shadow Ban

In the midst of their ongoing clash over cheating allegations, Censor jokingly proposed to Nadia in a video. After Nadia rejected his proposal, the conflict seemed to die down for a while. However, the tension reignited when Nadia claimed she had been shadow banned during a livestream on October 4th.

During a game of Warzone, Nadia suddenly expressed her belief that she had been shadow banned from the game. It is unclear how she reached this conclusion, but she confirmed it after discovering that she was unable to appeal the ban as her games were under review.

Understanding Shadow Ban in Warzone

Shadow banning in Warzone does not prevent players from entering lobbies, but it places suspected cheaters in a separate pool away from regular servers. While Nadia can still play the game, the overall quality of matches may decrease significantly due to the potential presence of other cheaters or hackers.

The exact reason behind Nadia’s alleged shadow ban has not been confirmed. It is possible that the ban is a result of the recent cheating allegations, but it could also be because Nadia has played Warzone from multiple locations in the past week, including gaming houses and offices affiliated with TSM, FaZe, Nuke Squad, and Full Squad. Warzone’s anti-cheat system may have flagged Nadia for using a VPN or similar software.

Currently, Nadia’s account remains under review.
