STPeach gains Twitch unbanning within a day, once more

Twitch Streamer STPeach Unbanned After One-Day Suspension

Twitch streamer STPeach, known for her cosplays and variety streams, has been unbanned from the Amazon-owned platform after just one day, according to StreamerBans.

Past Incidents of Suspension for STPeach

This isn’t the first time STPeach has faced a suspension on Twitch this year. On March 2, she received a suspension that was also lifted after just one day.

STPeach’s Surprise at Being Unbanned

Following her April 11 ban, STPeach tweeted, “banned from twitch again.. for wearing a raven cosplay I’ve worn before and had absolutely no issues/bans, while playing elden ring the whole stream. Guess this means only one thing.. I’ll see you guys Wednesday.” It appears even STPeach herself didn’t anticipate being unbanned after only one day.

The news of her suspension being lifted was initially reported by the automated Twitter account StreamerBans. STPeach has not yet commented on her return to Twitch.

Twitch’s Inconsistent Enforcement and Community Backlash

Many members of the Twitch community believe that STPeach should not have been banned in the first place. Some have expressed concerns about Twitch’s lack of consistency in enforcing suspensions, with one user on Reddit suggesting that a “random number generator” would be more consistent than the platform itself.

Twitch has faced criticism for its inconsistent handling of streamer suspensions. For instance, speedrunning streamer Narcissawright was initially indefinitely banned from the platform for a threatening tweet but had the ban reduced upon appeal. However, after facing backlash from the community, Twitch reinstated the permanent ban.
