Sodapoppin, one of the most successful content creators in esports, hosted a charity stream yesterday, delivering a remarkable performance in the season of giving.

During the stream, Sodapoppin used a variety of fundraising incentives to encourage viewers to donate to One True King’s Game’s For Love charity drive. The goal of the fundraiser is to provide gaming supplies to hospitalized children, offering them mental stimulation and an escape through video games.

Through his entertaining incentives, Sodapoppin managed to persuade viewers to donate a total of $115,085. Some notable milestones reached during the stream included Sodapoppin dying his hair pink, which required $40,000 in donations.

Enticing Offers from Sodapoppin

Aside from dying his hair, Sodapoppin made enticing offers to his viewers in exchange for their donations. These offers included letting them make a post to his Twitter account, promising a VR horror stream, dressing up as his girlfriend and VTuber Veibae, being nice for the entire stream, and even doing an IRL stream at an arcade.

Success and Generosity

Sodapoppin’s stream lasted for eight hours despite a brief internet outage. He averaged more than 20,000 viewers throughout the broadcast and personally donated $4,500 to the cause. Additionally, he pledged to give $500 each time a viewer beat him in a video game of his choice, further contributing to the fundraising efforts.
