Shroud’s Fascination with WoW Overtakes FPS Games Addiction

Twitch Streamer Shroud Embraces the Grind in WoW Classic

Popular Twitch streamer and first-person shooter legend Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has officially joined the race to reach level 60 in WoW Classic, confidently stating that he’s “going all the way.”

Since the game’s launch earlier this week, shroud has dedicated nearly 40 hours of streaming to WoW Classic. Expressing his surprise, during a recent stream, he couldn’t believe how much time he has invested into the MMO grind.

Shroud revealed that his girlfriend will be assisting him by logging him into WoW Classic to avoid wasting time in long queues. Despite acknowledging the effort he’s putting into Blizzard’s game, he doesn’t seem bothered by it.

“God, this is such a grind,” shroud exclaimed. “I can’t believe I’m committing this much to WoW. What the fuck is wrong with me… I mean, I’m down. I want to hit 60, and I don’t want to be too late.”

Shroud’s dedication to WoW Classic is undeniable. He even did a marathon 25-hour stream after the game’s launch, which unfortunately ended with his computer encountering the dreaded blue screen of death—a potential consequence of spending countless hours in Azeroth.

With shroud’s focus on leveling his Orc Shaman, fans of Apex Legends who usually watch his streams only have two options now―either watch someone else or join the WoW movement.
