Shroud successfully collects $100,000 for three charities

Streamers like shroud and DrLupo raise over $100,000 for charity

Michael “shroud” Grzesiak, one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, has been making a positive impact on the gaming community. Over the past three months, his viewership has skyrocketed, allowing him to raise over $100,000 for charity through his streams.

Shroud has chosen three charities to receive the donations. A veteran’s charity will receive $32,000, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital will receive $70,000, and $10,000 will be given to a local no-kill animal shelter.

Other streamers have also joined the charitable cause. Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, and Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar have released a T-shirt featuring their faces, with all proceeds going directly to St. Jude. The T-shirts are available in multiple colors and styles until April 15th, and can be shipped globally.

DrLupo will also be headlining the PLAY LIVE charity event for St. Jude in April, where other Twitch streamers will be participating. Additionally, players and streamers have the opportunity to host their own charity streams on their channels.

The Twitch community is coming together for a good cause, with these streamers using their platform and fanbase to make a difference. Their generosity is inspiring and highlights the positive impact gamers can have.
