Cloud9 CS:GO Veterans Reunite for IEM Katowice Minor Championship Qualifiers

Four former Cloud9 players from their 2015 CS:GO roster have joined forces once again for the ongoing qualifiers of the IEM Katowice Minor Championship. Michael “shroud” Grzesiek, Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert, Tyler “skadoodle” Latham, and Sean “sgares” Gares, along with former Swole Patrol player Samuel “SileNt” Portillo, are streaming their matches as they try to secure a spot in the next Valve Major. Notably, Ryan “Freakazoid” Abadir is already in the closed qualifiers with Swole Patrol, so he has been replaced by SileNt in the current lineup.

The team is currently competing under the name “budget cyber monday version of OGC” due to the absence of the original lineup of the Old Guys Club. If they succeed in qualifying for the other IEM Katowice Major qualifiers, they will have to stick with this lineup throughout the tournament. So far, they have been dominating the competition without much difficulty, indicating their potential to advance to the closed qualifiers given their level of skill.
