Shroud made his first Twitch stream last night since his most recent elbow surgery

Shroud Returns to Streaming Apex Legends After Elbow Surgery

Last night, popular streamer and former professional player Michael “shroud” Grzesiek made his comeback to Apex Legends, just one day after undergoing surgery on his left elbow. The surgery, which took place on March 29, involved the insertion of a plate to aid in his recovery from a serious scooter accident a few weeks ago.

Despite needing time to recuperate, shroud expressed his eagerness to play and even considered starting a livestream on his Twitch channel, which he followed through with.

Shroud’s Twitter Announcement

During his livestream, shroud shared details about his surgery. He mentioned how a member of the doctor’s team recognized him as a professional game streamer and took that into consideration during the procedure. The surgeon adjusted the incision and the placement of the metal plate to ensure shroud’s comfort when resting his elbows on the chair or desk. Instead of a straight incision, the surgeon made a ‘U’ shape to avoid any discomfort.

Shroud’s Recovery Outlook

This surgery may mark the end of shroud’s treatment for this particular injury. His surgeon stated that a third surgery may no longer be necessary considering how well the healing process is progressing.

Despite the relatively short stream, shroud confirmed that he will participate in the Apex Legends Rivals tournament on Twitch today.
