Shroud gives up on Borderlands 3 due to extended WoW queue waits

Twitch Streamer shroud Chooses WoW Classic Over Borderlands 3 Due to Queue Times

Popular Twitch streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek made a surprising decision to switch from playing Borderlands 3 to World of Warcraft (WoW) Classic, citing the long queue times for the MMO.

In a recent broadcast, shroud explained his choice, stating that the lengthy WoW Classic queues were interfering with his schedule. He expressed frustration with the situation, saying, “If WoW was something more open where I could just join and play whenever I want, I probably would’ve played Borderlands for another hour and then got off. But you kind of have to play WoW whenever you can because the queues are so long, it’s crazy.”

WoW Classic’s queue times have become a serious issue, with some players waiting six to nine hours on weekends to access the game. Despite a promised solution in the form of a hotfix released on Aug. 28, which increased the number of players who could log in simultaneously, the issue does not seem to have been resolved.

Despite shroud’s decision to prioritize WoW Classic, he still expressed his admiration for Borderlands 3, stating, “But Borderlands is pretty cool. I like it. I’m down.”
