Seagull reveals exciting plans for Overwatch 2 Twitch drop enthusiasts

Fans Gear Up for Overwatch 2 Drop Event on Twitch

With the highly anticipated Overwatch 2 drop event kicking off tomorrow, fans are expected to flock to Twitch to catch all the action.

Seagull, a well-known Overwatch streamer, has gained popularity thanks to his engaging personality and experience in Team Fortress 2. As excitement for Overwatch is reignited, Seagull is using his reputation to attract viewers once again.

But with drop farming on the horizon, Seagull recently revealed that he plans to make the most of his success. While the hype for Overwatch may fade in the long run, Seagull intends to take full advantage of drop viewers who come to his stream in search of Twitch drops.

“Even if the hype dies down and those drop viewers show up, I’m going to ruthlessly spam ads,” Seagull jokingly said. “Don’t expect to watch me because I won’t be here. It’s just going to be an ad.”

Seagull’s remark, although exaggerated, holds some truth. Drop viewers are primarily focused on earning in-game cosmetics and are less concerned about the content. Seagull can easily capitalize on this by running ads and monetizing those viewers who are essentially “watching” advertisements, benefiting both parties involved.

Two drop events are scheduled for Overwatch 2. The first event starts tomorrow at 4 pm CT, offering players who watch six hours of gameplay a legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin. The second event begins on Oct. 17 at 1 pm, granting players a Razor Sharp Kiriko Spray and a Donut Weapon Charm. Viewers can obtain the spray by watching for two hours and the charm after three hours of earning the spray.

In total, viewers need to watch 11 hours of Twitch in order to unlock all the cosmetics. While Seagull may receive criticism if he runs excessive ads, viewers have the option to subscribe to his channel and avoid them.
