Minecraft Announces Release Date for Caves & Cliffs Update: Part II

Minecraft has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated next patch, Caves & Cliffs Update: Part II. The update is scheduled to come out on November 30th.

Updates to Terrain and New Features

With the first part of the update already released on November 8th, players have been eagerly awaiting the second part. Caves & Cliffs Update: Part II will bring updates to terrain and introduce a few new features to the game.

Exciting Additions in Part II

The second part of the update will introduce Candles, a new light source that provides both vision and warmth, featuring a unique flickering flame. Additionally, there will be changes to the terrain, including higher peaks for mountains and more expansive caves. During your exploration, you’ll also find larger ore veins.

Delayed Features

However, a few features originally planned for this update have been postponed until further notice. These include archeology, bundles, and goat horns. The team behind Minecraft wants to ensure that these features are fully ready before they are released. Rest assured, these postponed features will still be coming in the future.

Continued Updates and November 30th Release

The first part of the Caves and Cliffs Update brought exciting additions to the game, such as Axolotls and Goats. As the update continues to be implemented, there is plenty more Minecraft content to come. Part II will be available on all consoles and PC on November 30th.
