QTCinderella Plans Social Media Break Following Criticism on Streamer Awards

Streamer QTCinderella Taking Break from Social Media After Negative Feedback on Streamer Awards Show

Popular Twitch broadcaster and Streamer Awards host QTCinderella recently announced on Twitter that she will be stepping back from social media for a while due to an influx of negative comments about her recent Streamer Awards show.

On March 12, QTCinderella organized, produced, and hosted the highly successful inaugural Streamer Awards with fellow streamer Maya Higa. The show gained record-breaking viewership and received praise from numerous streamers, viewers, and industry leaders.

While the Streamer Awards received significant acclaim from many fans and streamers, some people expressed their opinions on how the show could have been improved. Valkyrae and Sykkuno, who later apologized, questioned why they were not included in the yearly recap video that was shown during the event.

Other viewers had similar complaints, such as the use of streamer clips, the hosting of the event, and even the seating arrangement. Despite many streamers defending QTCinderella’s production, the influx of negativity has prompted her to take a hiatus from social media.

Following a Twitter thread about the use of streamer clips, QTCinderella made it clear that she is not currently seeking nitpicking or suggestions from others.

In a separate tweet, she explained that the constant negativity and unsolicited opinions about the awards show have become overwhelming. While QTCinderella will be unplugged from Twitter for now, she will continue streaming on her Twitch account.
