QTCinderella optimistic that Streamer Awards can enhance streamer recognition

QTCinderella Launches Streamer Awards to Celebrate Content Creators

In a recent behind-the-scenes video on her YouTube channel, QTCinderella shared her motivation for creating The Streamer Awards. The event aims to honor and bring together content creators in the space.

QTCinderella and fellow streamer Maya Higa announced the inaugural Streamer Awards to be held in early 2022. After months of preparation, the event successfully took place on March 12, attracting over 300,000 viewers and setting a new channel record for QTCinderella. The awards ceremony included the presentation of twenty-seven awards and was attended by over 250 streamers and industry professionals.

QTCinderella’s Spectacular Preparations

In her YouTube vlog, QTCinderella took fans on a virtual tour of the preparation process leading up to the Streamer Awards. The video showcased the venue set-up, offering viewers an insight into the inspiration behind the event.

During the video, QTCinderella shared her perspective on the purpose of streaming, explaining how it can sometimes feel lacking. She expressed her appreciation for the moments when she was invited to participate in events, while setting up a table.

A Venue for Streamers to Unite

QTCinderella believes that streamers don’t often have opportunities to gather, so she took it upon herself to organize events like The Streamer Awards and her previous collaboration, Shit Camp. The award show serves as a platform to recognize veteran streamers who are rarely acknowledged with ‘official’ awards.

The streamer emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “It’s a fun way to gather 250 streamers in one room and also give recognition to people who have never been recognized before. For example, Asmongold, tonight’s winner for best MMORPG streamer, mentioned that he had never won an award despite being in the industry for so long. That’s crazy.”

A Promising Future for Streamer Awards

The first annual Streamer Awards received widespread acclaim and attracted a massive audience. QTCinderella hints in her video that this event has the potential to become a long-term tradition. We will have to wait and see if a second Streamer Awards is in the works.
