Ninomae Ina’nis Almost Withdrew from Hololive Audition
Ninomae Ina’nis, the popular Hololive VTuber, revealed in a recent collaboration that she had almost rejected the offer to become a Hololive VTuber. The moment of doubt occurred just before she received the acceptance email.
Ina confessed, “I doubted myself a lot and was considering sending an email saying ‘I don’t think I can do it’ right before I got the ‘got in’ message.”
She explained that she was about to withdraw from the audition when she received the email, which was a scary and intense moment for her.
At the time, Ina was wrapped in her blanket, contemplating whether or not she should withdraw when the acceptance email suddenly arrived. She said, “Man, do I do this or not? Then I got the message. It’s too late to back out.”
Gawr Gura, another Hololive member, also experienced uncertainty during her audition. She described feeling uneasy and cycling between confidence and doubt as the cut-off date for email acceptance approached.
Amelia Watson and Mori Calliope, two other Hololive talents, discussed the nerve-wracking experience of interviewing shortly after receiving contact from the agency.
Fortunately, their persistence paid off. Ina and her fellow talents recently had their 3D debuts and are set to perform at Hololive 4th Fes. on the weekend of March 18.
