PlayStation to Host State of Play Presentation with Focus on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
PlayStation is gearing up for its second State of Play presentation of 2021. The focus of this event will be on showcasing the highly anticipated game, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Earlier today, PlayStation announced the upcoming presentation alongside a new trailer for the PS5 title Ratchet and Clank.
The Details
The State of Play presentation is scheduled for Thursday, April 29. Apart from providing an in-depth look at the gameplay of Rift Apart, the event will also feature two indie games.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is exclusively releasing on PS5 on June 11. This 3D platformer will give fans of the franchise their first taste of the beloved characters on the next-generation console.
What to Expect
This upcoming State of Play stream is expected to showcase 15 minutes of never-before-seen gameplay from Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, along with the reveal of the two unnamed indie games.
Back in February, PlayStation held its first State of Play presentation for the year, which featured PS5 gameplay of Crash Bandicoot 4, updates on various indie titles, and the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade coming to PS5 on June 10.
Potential Surprises
While there haven’t been many details about the upcoming event, it wouldn’t be surprising if PlayStation has a few surprises up their sleeve for the showcase.
