Pestily Donates $1 Million to Starlight Children’s Foundation

Escape From Tarkov Streamer Pestily Raises $1 Million for Starlight Children’s Foundation

Well-known Escape From Tarkov streamer Pestily has achieved a remarkable feat by raising $1 million for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. At the start of 2020, Pestily redirected all donation links on his channel to make a positive impact on his community.

During 2019, Pestily emerged as the most-watched streamer of Escape From Tarkov, accumulating over 2,000 hours of airtime throughout the year. His popularity further soared when Battlestate Games introduced in-game drops for the game later in the year.

Between December 30 and January 5, Pestily gained nearly 13,000 new subscribers. Additionally, he acquired over 123,000 new followers and maintained an average of 64,000 viewers throughout the week. However, it wasn’t an easy accomplishment as Pestily streamed for more than 125 hours during the week. His dedication, coupled with the introduction of in-game drops, propelled his exponential growth and opened new opportunities for him.

On New Year’s Eve, Pestily announced his collaboration with the Starlight Children’s Foundation to raise $1 million for helping sick children in Australia. All donations on his Twitch channel were redirected to the organization, and he also planned to host various events throughout the year.

After eight months of dedicated efforts, Pestily and his community successfully achieved their goal last night. Pestily organized a 12-hour charity stream where viewers had the opportunity to win various prizes. The charity stream raised nearly $60,000 by the time they reached their goal, with donations pouring in as Pestily celebrated.

Pestily’s charitable work throughout the year has made a direct impact on his community, and it is likely that he will continue to utilize his platform to support those in need.
