Logan Paul is receiving criticism for allegedly offering only a small percentage of compensation to victims of the supposed CryptoZoo scam, an NFT-based play-to-earn game. YouTuber Kavos on X labeled Paul’s actions “an absolute disgrace” and accused him of lacking accountability and sympathy.
The allegations against Paul and his team trying to dismiss the case beforehand were brought to light by Coffeezilla, a YouTuber known for exposing scams, in a viral three-part docuseries.
Initially dismissive, Paul eventually admitted to the allegations and announced plans to repay the victims. However, concerns about the nature of those repayments have sparked further discussions and backlash.
Some fans have expressed disappointment in Paul’s actions, questioning why he would avoid compensating victims when he has significant financial resources. The amount offered by Paul, if Kavos’ information proves accurate, is only a fraction of the losses suffered by the investors.
While some fans remain skeptical of Kavos’ claims without clear evidence, others are calling on Coffeezilla to investigate the matter again.
