The Texas-based organization has been impressed with ExtraEmily’s collaborations with various streamers, leading to her joining the team. Notably, this announcement coincided with the promotion of Emiru, another female creator, to a co-owner position within the organization.

One True King’s Twitter account announced ExtraEmily’s arrival, showcasing the organization’s enthusiasm for their new member. This marks the second female creator to join One True King, with ExtraEmily’s addition coming just a week after the departure of African-American streamer BruceDropEmOff.
Growing Diversity within One True King

The inclusion of ExtraEmily brings the total number of OTK members to 10, with two of them being female. While the majority of the organization’s members are male gamers who enjoy MMOs like World of Warcraft and often stream Just Chatting content on Twitch, One True King has made a clear effort to focus on diversity in their group. This is especially important in the aftermath of Bruce’s departure, as he was the sole creator who represented African American culture. While there are other male creators in the organization who are minorities, they do not have the same appeal to Bruce’s audience due to their different image, branding, and DEO community.
