Twitch streamers TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS, along with YouTube streamer Valkyrae, have received nominations for Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards 2020. The announcement was made today, and the winner of the award will be announced during the all-digital show on Dec. 10.

TimTheTatman’s Journey to Fame

TimTheTatman gained widespread fame this summer with his entertaining quest for victory in Fall Guys. He became a mainstream sensation as he struggled in the party game. Besides Fall Guys, Tim has consistently produced content in games like Call of Duty: Warzone and VALORANT, which greatly increased his viewership.

Valkyrae’s Soaring Popularity on YouTube

Valkyrae’s popularity skyrocketed after she transitioned to YouTube. She consistently garners high live viewership numbers and has experienced significant growth in subscribers.

NICKMERCS’ Achievements and Partnership

NICKMERCS achieved a milestone of surpassing 50,000 subscribers this year. He also did sponsored streams for brands like Got Milk? and Hyper Scape. In September, he signed a three-year extension with FaZe.

The Game Awards will be live-streamed on multiple platforms on Dec. 10.
