Ninja Reaches 3 Million Followers on Mixer, 8 Months After Leaving Twitch

Ninja Reaches Three Million Followers on Mixer

Ninja, the popular streamer, announced today that he has reached three million followers on Mixer. As the most-followed streamer on the platform, he has maintained a solid fan base even after leaving Twitch eight months ago.

Ninja, formerly the poster boy of Twitch, gained fame through his eccentric personality and skills in Fortnite. His decision to move to Mixer last August surprised the streaming world, raising concerns about its impact on his brand and following.

Ninja did experience a 33% decrease in viewership after moving to Mixer. Before leaving Twitch, he had an average of 36,146 viewers per stream, while during the early days of Mixer, he averaged 12,036. However, this was expected, and Ninja’s brand and following were not significantly impacted because he gained the freedom to enter into other deals and sponsorships.

Ninja’s team confirmed that one of the main reasons he left Twitch was due to the platform’s restrictions on expanding his brand. Mixer, on the other hand, seems to offer fewer limitations, as Ninja has closed several major deals within the past eight months.

Despite leaving Twitch, Ninja has reached three million followers on Mixer after eight months. Although this is far from the 14 million followers he had on Twitch, he continues to steadily grow on the new platform.

As Mixer gains popularity, Ninja is likely to attract more followers as fans explore alternative streaming platforms apart from Twitch.
