Nickmercs’ MFAM Gauntlet Boosts Twitch Subscriptions and Viewership

Popular battle royale streamer Nickmercs is experiencing a surge in Twitch subscriptions thanks to his “MFAM Gauntlet” event, which is also generating some of his highest viewership this year.

New Record of Subscribers on Twitch

Nickmercs recently achieved a personal best on Twitch with over 49,000 subscribers, surpassing his previous monthly record of 46,142 subscribers in April, according to Twitchtracker.com.

The MFAM Gauntlet Tournament

The MFAM Gauntlet tournament is organized by Nickmercs himself, giving subscribers on his channel the opportunity to compete and win cash prizes. With three weeks of qualifiers, the tournament culminates in an upcoming showdown that has the potential to further increase Nick’s viewership and subscriber count.

Nickmercs Shares Excitement on Twitter

After his recent stream, Nickmercs took to Twitter and expressed his excitement about hitting 50,000 viewers during a qualifier for the MFAM Gauntlet. He also acknowledged that he was close to reaching the 50,000 subscriber milestone.

“Crazy fuckin’ day!” he wrote. “50,000 viewers, our highest during a qualifier for the #MFAMGauntlet. Knockin’ on 50K subs too. W. The energy is crazy! Big shout out to our moderators, for working their asses.”

The Impact of COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nickmercs’ channel experienced a rise in subscriptions in March and April due to the state of emergency declared in the U.S. However, the number of subscriptions slightly declined in the following month.

Increasing Viewership

Nickmercs’ viewership has been steadily increasing as he focuses on playing Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite this year. The MFAM Gauntlet finale in May was the peak, averaging over 55,000 viewers.
