New streaming platform by Trainwreck expected to ‘revolutionize’ industry by 2022

Tyler ‘Trainwreck’ Niknam Plans to Launch Streaming Platform to Rival Twitch and YouTube

Tyler ‘Trainwreck’ Niknam has been open about his ambition to create a streaming platform that aligns with his vision and can compete with Twitch and YouTube. However, he has not revealed when the platform will be ready.

That changed during a recent Twitch stream on Oct. 25.

Trainwreck announced that the platform will launch before the end of this year. While the official announcement is likely to take place in November, it may be later in the month.

“I don’t think the platform will be ready on November 1. It’s more likely to be in the middle of November, or even early December,” he revealed. “Probably mid or late November.”

Trainwreck believes that the platform itself will “revolutionize streaming,” even for those who do not particularly like him or his content. He is confident that it will become an appealing option for many.

“It doesn’t matter if you hate me, love me, are neutral towards me, or don’t know me. That platform is going to blow up. I cannot wait to announce it,” he exclaimed.

Despite his grandiose claims, some people have doubts. His main competitors are platforms owned by Amazon and Google—two companies with seemingly limitless resources, even compared to his claims of earning hundreds of millions of dollars through gambling sponsorships. So, it’s an uphill battle for him (or rather, a battle against two giants).

Nevertheless, the controversial streaming star is determined to prove them wrong.

Twitch’s ban on most forms of gambling played a part in Trainwreck’s decision to create his own platform. It will allow him to gamble as much as he wants on any site he chooses.

However, that was not the only reason.

The 31-year-old wanted to develop a platform that caters to medium-sized creators, something he believes Twitch and YouTube do not do well.
