New streamers join the lineup of popular collectible trading card app Epics

Digital Trading Card App Epics Expands to Include Popular Streamers

Collectible trading card app Epics is now venturing into the world of popular personality streamers, such as shroud, Summit1g, TimTheTatman, and AnneMunition. Previously, the app focused on creating sets for CS:GO players since 2018. However, today marks the addition of a new category of content for streamers represented by talent agency Loaded.

New Artwork Commissioned for Streamer Collection

In anticipation of this release, Epics has enlisted several artists to create a combination of images that depict various content creators in a range of styles, from silly to intense and everything in between.

Unique Features of Streamer Cards

Each streamer will have multiple cards available, featuring highlight clips and digital signatures in place of traditional sports trading card statistics. Epics co-founder Mark Donovan explained, “Just like our CS:GO cards, all of our items are unique digital objects. This means they are all separately tracked, including their entire ownership history, and each card has a unique mint number to show its production details.”

Purchasing and Rewards

Players can purchase packs of cards using in-app currency called Epicoins. Epicoins can be bought with real money or earned through other in-app activities.

Additionally, during the first week of the streamer card launch, Epics will donate 30 percent of the collection’s proceeds to Feeding America and the American Red Cross to support COVID-19 pandemic relief.
