QTCinderella Parts Ways with TSM
QTCinderella fulfilled her dream by joining TSM in September 2021. As a devoted fan of the esports organization, becoming a content creator under their brand was incredibly meaningful to her. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as expected.
The 28-year-old streamer announced her departure from TSM on November 1, just over a year after joining. She shared the news on social media.
“I wanted to announce that I am no longer on TSM,” QTCinderella said. “If you’ve followed me over the years, you know that TSM was my dream. I was thrilled to join and even turned down other, more lucrative offers to make that dream come true.”
QTCinderella jokingly attributed her departure from TSM to the organization signing Erobb. However, she did provide an actual reason for leaving.
“I’ve been a fan of TSM for years,” she explained. “They are the only team I’ve ever cheered for, the only merchandise I’ve ever purchased, and the only games I’ve attended. Sadly, after joining, I learned that you should never meet your heroes.”
According to QTCinderella, the first warning sign she noticed was the lack of support, encouragement, or congratulations from TSM when she created the successful Streamer Awards ceremony. However, she emphasized that this wasn’t the main reason for her departure. The tipping point came later when the organization rejected her detailed and well-thought-out content plan at the last minute.
“When it was time to renegotiate my contract, I presented an entire content plan for the organization that was approved until the day I was supposed to sign,” QTCinderella revealed. “It was devastating, but it ultimately made me realize that I needed to move on.”
Although QTCinderella was incredibly disappointed with how things unfolded, she doesn’t hold any resentment towards TSM. She acknowledged that there are many wonderful people in the organization. However, she felt like she wasn’t truly part of the team. That’s why she has decided to move on, and it seems like she already has some exciting prospects ahead.
“It was a difficult decision, but the right one for me,” she stated. “I need to be with an organization that will help me turn my dreams into reality. So, cheers to TSM. I will be sharing some exciting news with all of you soon!”
