‘Narrow Escape: IShowSpeed shares personal health ordeal in YouTube comeback’

IShowSpeed Returns to Streaming After Hospitalization

IShowSpeed, the popular streamer, has made a comeback on YouTube today after being hospitalized in Japan two weeks ago. He was suffering from a sinus infection that led to cluster headaches, an excruciating form of headache that occurs behind the eye.

During his hospitalization, fans became concerned about his well-being. IShowSpeed addressed the situation in a recent YouTube video, revealing that the pain he experienced was so severe that it almost took his life.

Describing the sensation as if someone were stabbing his eye from behind, IShowSpeed expressed his hope that none of his fans would ever have to endure such agony. At its worst, he believed that he was facing death. “That’s the one that almost killed me,” he admitted, adding, “I almost fucking died.”

Fortunately, the doctors were able to provide relief for the pain while treating the underlying infection. IShowSpeed described it as the worst infection he had ever experienced. He was warned that if the infection spread behind his eye, there was a risk of permanent vision loss, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

Although it took him some time to recover, IShowSpeed made a triumphant return. While he still experienced mild pain, his swollen eye had improved. After streaming for an hour, he decided to end the session to prevent pushing himself too hard.
