Myth Reviews the Embody Chair from Herman Miller: Is it Worth the Hype?

TSM’s popular streamer, Myth, recently shared his thoughts on the Embody chair from Herman Miller, one of the leading chair manufacturers, during his stream last night.
Upon receiving the pre-built Embody chair, Myth expressed a slight disappointment as his chat was looking forward to a building stream. However, after testing it out, he admitted that it “feels like a chair, not gonna lie.”
Later, Myth began exploring the chair’s features and playfully retracted his initial comments. While there was no user manual included, he made adjustments with the assistance of his chat.
With each adjustment, Myth started to appreciate the chair more and shared with his stream that its true potential would be revealed during his upcoming eight-hour gaming session. According to the TSM star, assessing a chair’s quality within 10 minutes is impossible as ergonomic issues tend to arise over longer periods.
After reading the latest patch notes for VALORANT, Myth jumped into a game with his new chair and performed well, considering the adjustment to his new ergonomic setup. Although his first game ended in a close defeat, he concluded with a positive KD of 22-14.
While Myth didn’t mention plans for a long-term review of the chair, his future performance could serve as an indicator of its quality. Some members of the online gaming community even claim that gaming chairs are equivalent to hacks.
