MrBeast Takes Over PewDiePie as YouTube’s Most Subscribed Content Creator

YouTube’s New King: MrBeast Outshines PewDiePie in Subscriber Count

Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has officially surpassed Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg as the new king of YouTube. MrBeast’s subscriber count has grown to over 111,846,079, which matches PewDiePie’s current subscriber base. Despite the achievement, both creators are yet to comment on this milestone. However, back in August, PewDiePie mentioned in a Q&A video that he hopes MrBeast takes the crown of YouTube.

Tweet Announcement of MrBeast’s Success

A tweet by Dexerto confirms the news, stating that MrBeast has officially surpassed PewDiePie to become the most subscribed YouTuber.

PewDiePie’s Congratulations

In response to the milestone, PewDiePie expressed his support, stating, “Come on, I’ve been retired for about two years. I can’t wait for it to be done, he definitely deserves it. I hope he does it.”

A Journey to Success

MrBeast entered the YouTube scene in 2012. It was in 2018 that he gained significant recognition and fan support, especially after he started giving away money to fellow content creators on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. He funded these giveaways from his own pocket and through sponsorships with private companies.

Today, MrBeast has transitioned from a humble YouTuber to a highly profitable content creator. According to Forbes, he earned a staggering $54 million in 2021. Additionally, he has expanded his brand with the launch of MrBeast Burger, a food app that offers fans the opportunity to order meals bearing his name.
