MrBeast apologizes for delay in YouTube uploads, hints at upcoming videos with potential of being as thrilling as ‘Squid Game’

MrBeast’s Latest Projects: Recreating Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and Giving Away an Island

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is a renowned YouTube star with one of the highest numbers of subscribers on the platform. His videos consistently generate millions of views and have made him a success story on YouTube. One of the reasons for his popularity is his massive investment in each video, with some costing well over a million dollars.

Usually, MrBeast releases videos on a regular basis, averaging around two posts per month on his main channel. However, 2022 has seen a slower start for him, with only five videos uploaded since January. This is because MrBeast is currently working on two videos that he compares to the level of popularity of the hit show, “Squid Game”. His previous recreation of “Squid Game” cost him $3.5 million, and he is aiming to surpass that with these new projects.

In a recent tweet, MrBeast shared a glimpse of his upcoming project, the recreation of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. He expressed surprise at how challenging the task is and revealed that the photo shared was only 10% of the entire creation.

Ambitious Plans for an Island Giveaway

In addition to the chocolate factory project, MrBeast also announced his plan to give away an island for $100 million. He explained that nice-looking and big islands cost $20 million, so he purchased an “ugly” island and has been making efforts to transform it by importing sand, planting trees, and creating a lake. This project has added to the workload and MrBeast acknowledged that it was not a wise decision to take on two massive projects simultaneously.

Slower Production, Bigger Promises

Due to these ambitious undertakings, MrBeast has apologized to his fans for the recent lack of YouTube videos. He mentioned that he is regretting his decision to work on two Squid Game-level videos at the same time. However, if these videos turn out to be anything like his previous Squid Game adaptation, fans can expect an exciting treat. With his past adaptation approaching 250 million views, MrBeast aims to outdo his previous success in the coming weeks and months.
