MontanaBlack88 allegedly promotes potential scam NFT

Controversy Surrounding MontanaBlack88 and NFT Scam

MontanaBlack88, a popular social media influencer in Germany, has found himself in yet another controversy involving an NFT scam. Just weeks after his controversial NFT giveaway that featured a swastika image, MontanaBlack88 is facing backlash once again.

With over 8.4 million followers on various social media platforms, MontanaBlack88 gained fame through his YouTube videos that shared personal stories, including his struggles with drug abuse and homelessness.

However, MontanaBlack88’s recent actions have caused him to lose the trust of his supporters. In February, he announced a giveaway where winners would receive one of five Squiggles NFTs.

Unfortunately, it turned out that the Squiggles NFTs promoted by MontanaBlack88 were part of a scam known as a rug pull. The creators of the NFTs vanished, deleting all related social media accounts and causing the value of the images to plummet. Investors who had hoped to enter the crypto space were left empty-handed.

Although the creators of Squiggles NFTs have not deleted their pages, the NFTs have been taken down from OpenSea, a popular NFT marketplace. These NFTs were then relisted on LooksRare, but the floor price dropped significantly.

MontanaBlack88 has since issued multiple apologies, which have now been deleted, and changed the names of his OpenSea accounts, as reported by NFTethics.
