MoistCr1TiKaL Reacts to Logan Paul’s Response to Crypto Scam Allegations
In the world of livestreaming, MoistCr1TiKaL is known for his straightforwardness. So, when Logan Paul faced accusations that his crypto project was a scam and responded to them, Moist had something to say.
Over the holidays, online journalist Coffeezilla released a series of videos exposing Cryptozoo as a scam. In response, Paul released a video, threatening to sue the reporter for defamation. And recently, on his YouTube podcast, Impaulsive, Paul further defended himself.
During the podcast, as Paul and his co-host Mike Majlak spoke, Moist took issue with several of their statements. The most significant concern was their lack of self-awareness regarding their wealth and privilege.
Majlak described how they learned about the allegations, mentioning that when everything came to light, they were relaxing in a spa in Qatar, where the FIFA World Cup had taken place.
Majlak’s intention was to humanize Paul and garner sympathy for him. However, his words only highlighted the vast difference between Paul’s reality and that of many of his viewers.
“That was embarrassing,” Moist remarked. “Jesus Christ, Mike.”
Moist sarcastically mimicked Majlak, painting a more exaggerated picture of their luxurious vacation before Coffeezilla’s documentary series “ruined” it.
As Moist continued watching, he pointed out instances where Paul and his friends missed the mark in their defense. They displayed a lack of awareness and created a strawman argument by falsely claiming that Paul profited from the venture, which Coffeezilla made sure to debunk.
