Mizkif Completes Super Mario 64 Speedrun Challenge: Saves His Hair
Speedrunning is a high-pressure endeavor where players aim to beat the clock and improve their overall time. However, for one streamer, the stakes were raised even higher as he faced the possibility of losing his hair.
During a recent stream, Mizkif set out to complete a Super Mario 64 playthrough in under 20 minutes. Failing to achieve this goal on multiple attempts, he made a bold wager. Should he be unable to hit the target within a few more tries, he agreed to shave his head.
Luckily, on his final attempt, Mizkif triumphed. Defeating Bowser, he completed the game with a time of 19:24. Fellow streamer Simply provided detailed play-by-play commentary throughout Mizkif’s challenging run.
Throughout the gameplay, Mizkif faced numerous close calls before finally achieving his goal. Simply noted that while Mizkif struggled in the middle stages of the playthrough, he showed mastery over the earlier parts of the game.
Despite criticism from the commentary and his chat, Mizkif proved that he could fulfill the challenge and reclaim his self-proclaimed title as the “best Mario player to ever touch the earth.”
