Mizkif’s Discord Server Exposed to Hacks in YouTube Video
Mizkif, a popular Twitch streamer, revealed that his friend Lacari inadvertently exposed his Discord server to malicious links in a recent YouTube video. This resulted in over 1,000 Mizkif viewers falling victim to potential account hacks after joining the dangerous Discord server.
Lacari’s Unawareness of Account Risk
In Lacari’s video, he shared that a few months ago, he unknowingly joined a malicious Discord server that stole his account information. However, he was unaware of the risk at the time and didn’t think much of it. Surprisingly, the hackers decided to take control of Mizkif’s Twitch account recently.
Hackers Exploit Lacari’s Admin Privileges
Exploiting Lacari’s high-level admin privileges within Mizkif’s Discord server, the hackers used his account to invite a bot. The bot spammed a fake Discord Nitro giveaway link, and only Mizkif had the power to stop it. Unfortunately, Mizkif was asleep during the hack.
Mizkif’s Intervention and Warnings
After being alerted by his manager, Mizkif took action and banned Lacari and the bot from his Discord server. However, by that time, more than 1,000 users had already clicked on the malicious link. In his video, Mizkif warned viewers to stay away from a bot named “Welcome” that infected his Discord server.
