Mizkif Declines a Substantial $700k NFT Sponsorship Opportunities

NFT Sponsorship Offers Rejected by Twitch Streamers xQc and Mizkif

Recently, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding NFTs (non-fungible tokens) among Twitch streamers. Just yesterday, xQc made headlines when he turned down a lucrative $1.2 million NFT sponsorship. Today, while watching a clip of xQc’s sponsorship deal, Mizkif revealed that he too had received an offer to promote an NFT on his stream.

Mizkif disclosed, “I got an offer too, $700,000. So it’s currently being negotiated, and I’m trying to increase the number.” However, Mizkif has no plans to keep all the money for himself. The 27-year-old streamer stated that if he were to receive $900,000, he would give away $800,000 to his viewers.

Mizkif explained, “That way, I will look good, have a wholesome stream, and you know what? I will make $100,000 and be out of here.”

Mizkif’s chat was divided on the matter. Some viewers were against accepting the deal at all, while others encouraged him to keep the money. Mizkif responded to a viewer’s comment by saying, “I’m very glad that people like me, xQc, and a lot of other streamers take a strong stand against NFTs because they are absolutely garbage and scummy.”

Despite NFT sponsorships becoming more common on Twitter and Twitch, many top streamers, such as Pokimane and Asmongold, remain firmly opposed to this digital art form.

If Mizkif decides to accept the latest sponsorship offer, he will become one of the first big streamers to do so. Even if he goes ahead with his plan to host a giveaway with most of the money, it would still create a significant impact within the Twitch community.
