Mizkif Receives Original World of Warcraft Server Blade
Popular Twitch streamer Mizkif recently unboxed a piece of history from the game World of Warcraft – an original server blade.
During a recent stream, Mizkif showcased the impressively framed item to his chat. He expressed his excitement, revealing that it is no ordinary server blade, but the one that housed the Arthas server.
The Arthas server, which ran from February 2005 to June 2010, gained popularity for being named after the iconic character Arthas Menethil, who later became the Lich King.
The server blade includes a plaque with the server name, information about the server, and the signatures of many game developers.
Originally, this server blade was part of a charity campaign by Blizzard. They auctioned off retired server blades to raise funds for Pencils of Promise, a global education organization. Mizkif’s server blade was purchased during this auction and later resold on eBay for $5,000.
Mizkif, who began his Twitch journey playing World of Warcraft, has now shifted his focus to Just Chatting and variety streaming.
