Ludwig’s YouTube Account Suspended Following Video Flagged for ‘Child Safety’

Twitch Streamer Ludwig Suspended on YouTube for “Child Safety” Violation

Popular Twitch streamer Ludwig has been banned on YouTube for one week due to a video being flagged for “child safety.”

This shocking suspension marks the end of Ludwig’s nearly two-year streak of uploads, as his channel boasts 1.7 million subscribers.

Ludwig received the ban news while streaming live. Despite attempting to figure out the specific cause with his chat, the exact reason remains unknown. The suspension appears to be connected to his latest “You laugh, you lose” upload.

Viewers pointed out two specific sections of the video that they believed might have led to the suspension. However, Ludwig quickly dismissed these ideas.

One section featured a video of a monkey throwing feces at a child. Ludwig clarified that the clip was originally from YouTube and still remains live on the platform with a significantly higher view count than his own video. The other theory suggests that the ban originated from a clip where Ludwig discusses child labor. However, Ludwig was not convinced that this clip was the cause of the ban.

Ludwig expressed his disbelief, stating, “There’s no way that’s it, there’s no universe that that is it. Unless it got spam reported by people trying to mess with me as a joke, there’s no universe that that got flagged.”

For now, Ludwig must wait for YouTube’s response to find out the exact reason for his suspension.

Update June 15 2:26am CT: YouTube has responded to Ludwig’s tweet and will have a team member review the video once again.
