Ludwig’s Stream Faces Ban from YouTube Shortly After Platform Change

Popular Twitch Streamer Ludwig Restricted from Streaming on YouTube After Recent Transition

Last week, Ludwig, one of Twitch’s biggest stars, made the switch to YouTube. However, shortly after the transition, he faced restrictions and was unable to stream on the platform.

During a live stream with approximately 25,000 viewers, Ludwig’s stream suddenly came to an end. Viewers attempting to watch the stream received an error message stating that the stream was unavailable due to policy violations. Upon learning of this, Ludwig decided to end the stream and has not streamed since then.

Soon after his stream ended, Ludwig posted a video on his second channel, explaining the reason behind his streaming restriction on YouTube. Despite the situation, he found the humor in it and mentioned that he had been watching the 50 “most classic” videos on the platform when he stumbled upon the children’s song, Baby Shark.

According to Ludwig, after listening to a few seconds of Baby Shark, he speculated that the corporate owners of the song had a firm grip over YouTube, resulting in his stream being taken down. He also mentioned that he had underestimated the seriousness of copyright concerns, thinking that YouTube’s copyright ID system would simply flag copyrighted content and split the monetization.

Ludwig acknowledged this situation as a learning experience and expects to resume streaming over the weekend. In the meantime, you can still watch videos on Ludwig’s channel, although live streams may not be available for the immediate future.
