Avoiding DMCA Strikes on Twitch: Ludwig’s Creative Solution
Twitch streamers have been facing serious issues with DMCA strikes, leading many to avoid playing music on their streams. However, popular streamer Ludwig has come up with a perfect solution just in time for the holiday season.
Ludwig decided to create a six-song album filled with Christmas tunes, allowing streamers to avoid copyright problems while still being able to play festive music on their streams.
While Ludwig is the main contributor to the album, it also features fellow streamer QTCinderella on their rendition of “Baby it’s Cold Outside.”
Ludwig first unveiled the album on his stream and announced that the individual tracks will soon be available on YouTube and Spotify.
Ludwig’s performances on the songs are exceptional, showcasing his ability to hit high notes throughout the 19-minute runtime “unedited.”
This Christmas album is not Ludwig’s only holiday project. On December 7th, he will be opening $30,000 worth of Pokémon cards as part of the Pokémon week event that he and other streamers will be participating in.
