Ludwig dominates Twitch with epic subathon stream

Ludwig’s Record-Breaking Subathon Takes Twitch by Storm

Ludwig’s stream has reached an incredible milestone, surpassing a continuous week of broadcasting and propelling his channel to the top of Twitch.

According to stats from SullyGnome, Ludwig has accumulated 5.9 million hours watched in the past week, surpassing xQc as the most-watched channel on Twitch. xQc, the former Overwatch League pro, had 5.57 million hours watched in the same timeframe.

Since Ludwig’s stream started on Sunday, March 14, at 4pm CT, it has been broadcasting for over 186 hours.

Overall, his stream has amassed an impressive 7.3 million hours watched, with an average of over 40,000 viewers.

Despite xQc not streaming while sleeping, his 75 hours of airtime in the past week were still notable. Furthermore, he garnered a remarkable 73,825 viewers during this period.

However, Ludwig’s subathon has faced its share of challenges. With no anticipation of its extended duration, Ludwig had multiple plans for sponsored streams last week.

One of these activations involved Firehouse Subs, resulting in the restaurant gifting subscriptions to Ludwig’s channel to viewers.

According to the rules established at the start of the subathon, these gifted subs helped to prolong the stream.

Interestingly, Ludwig has spent a total of 47 hours on stream without a designated category, even moving the stream out of any category while he sleeps.

During his subathon, Ludwig’s most-watched content has been when he is asleep, with more hours watched and airtime in no category than any other.

The top categories for Ludwig’s stream include 41 hours of Just Chatting, accumulating 1.6 million hours watched, and 38 hours of playing Super Mario Odyssey, totaling 1.5 million hours watched.
