Why YouTube Streamers Are More Successful, According to Ludwig
In a recent podcast, popular YouTube streamer Ludwig discussed why he believes YouTube streamers tend to be more successful than Twitch streamers.
Ludwig was asked about his thoughts on the two major streaming platforms and the streaming industry as a whole. He explained the differences in his day-to-day life after switching from Twitch to YouTube, mentioning the workload as a major factor.
According to Ludwig, Twitch streamers often struggle to make a living and face challenges with their everyday expenses. He admitted that as a Twitch streamer, he also fell into these stereotypes.
Ludwig emphasized that YouTube provides better support for streamers, as they don’t have to broadcast for as many hours each month compared to Twitch. He pointed out that many Twitch streamers push themselves to stream excessively, leaving little time for anything else.
Referring to his own experiences on Twitch, Ludwig questioned how Twitch streamers find time for basic tasks like doing laundry. He also mentioned xQc, a popular Twitch streamer known for his long hours on broadcast.
While YouTube is still developing its streaming division, it has yet to see streamers reach the extreme hours streamed that some Twitch streamers achieve. This comes as a relief to streamers like Ludwig.
