FaZe Clan’s Female Content Creator, Kalei, Receives Twitch Ban
Kalei, the only female content creator for FaZe Clan, has been unexpectedly banned on Twitch. This news has surprised both Kalei herself and many others. It was announced by the unaffiliated Twitch ban bot, Streamer Bans, earlier today.
Before her ban, Kalei streamed on Twitch every day, primarily playing Call of Duty: Warzone. She has been streaming for seven years and joined FaZe Clan in June.
Kalei posted on her Twitter that she had received a three-day ban on Twitch for “sexually suggestive content”. The violation occurred in both public and private chat messages.
In response to the ban, Kalei expressed her frustration on Twitter, questioning Twitch’s decision. Some fans have speculated that her ban might be related to “copypastas” in her chat, which are copy-and-pasted blocks of text that are often spammed to create a humorous or sarcastic effect.
This is not the first time that Kalei’s social media accounts have been banned. In June, her TikTok account was taken down due to mass reports from fans. Despite facing accusations of cheating in Warzone, Kalei is skilled at the game, as showcased in her streams.
Concerning her ban, Kalei has expressed that she believes it was a targeted attack. She mentioned that even harmless words like “babe” or “baby” were being timed out in her chat.
During her three-day ban, Kalei is uncertain about how to spend her time, as she considers Twitch as her main focus. She may visit her mom’s workplace or find other activities to fill her days.
