Kai Cenat skillfully foils swatting incident during subathon

Kai Cenat Handles Swatting Attempt Smoothly During Livestream

Swatting is a constant threat for Twitch streamers, often causing them to alter their behavior and plans. However, Kai Cenat demonstrated last night how to handle a swatting attempt seamlessly without disrupting his stream.

Streaming from his new home in Los Angeles, Cenat appeared to be a target of a swatting call. However, viewers only became aware of it when a person in a police uniform briefly walked by the camera while Kai was away.

Sitting at his computer, Kai informed his chatroom that he would be stepping away momentarily to grab some food. However, he was gone for an unusual amount of time. To keep his viewers entertained, he played music. During this time, a person in a uniform walked across the screen, causing concern among the chat members. The person then walked back and disappeared.

When Kai returned a few minutes later, he admitted that he had been swatted. However, he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. Nevertheless, it was handled exceptionally well.

He stated, “W security. I have a lot of security outside, so they saw it. They called it before the police arrived. Yeah, there was no food. I received a text that we were getting swatted, so you see how I handled it? I said, ‘wait,’ put Party Rockers on, came back, and we’re back on track.”

Trying to move forward with his stream, Kai gave a shoutout to the L.A.P.D. for handling the swatting incident efficiently, swiftly sweeping the house without causing a scene or interrupting his stream.

“Shout out to L.A.P.D. though,” he said. “Super cool. They didn’t do anything extra. Came in, came out, that’s it.”
