Streamy Awards 2023: Kai Cenat and MrBeast Take Home Top Honors
The Streamy Awards ceremony, held on Aug. 27, celebrated the achievements of content creators in the digital entertainment industry for the year 2023. It was no surprise that Kai Cenat was crowned Streamer of the Year, but there were also many other winners who had their moment in the spotlight.
MrBeast was voted Creator of the Year, and his collaboration with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won the title for the best collaboration of the year. While IShowSpeed didn’t win Streamer of the Year, they did earn the title of Variety Streamer of the Year.
These three creators have been dominating the Streamy Awards for years, and they continued their streak this year. In the 2022 awards, Kai Cenat and MrBeast had already won the top titles, while IShowSpeed was voted Best Breakout Streamer at that time.
The awards ceremony featured over 30 categories, including not only streamer-focused titles but also awards for music, brands, crafts, subjects, and shows. VALORANT star Tyson “TenZ” Ngo won the Competitive Gamer title in the Subject category.
