Kai Cenat finally speaks out about Twitch disregarding his achievements due to being perceived as ‘poor marketing’

The Silent Rise of Kai Cenat: Twitch’s New Sensation

Kai Cenat has become one of the biggest Twitch streamers this year, with an impressive 60,000 subscribers. However, the focus has shifted from his monumental achievement to Twitch’s perceived silence regarding his success.

Asmongold recently criticized Twitch for not acknowledging Cenat’s meteoric rise, sparking a discussion on the platform. Despite the controversy, Cenat has remained silent.

During his stream on August 31, Cenat came across a video by YouTuber Low Tier God, who claimed that Twitch didn’t find Cenat’s content marketable. This motivated Cenat to respond.

Low Tier God questioned why Twitch wouldn’t promote or acknowledge Cenat. He believed it to be a result of Cenat’s frequent use of racial slurs during streams, which doesn’t align with Twitch’s marketing goals.

Cenat didn’t let Low Tier God finish his statement. He paused the clip and proceeded to say the racial slur multiple times on his stream, indicating that he will not change his behavior.

”No,” Cenat replied to God’s claims. ”Why? Why?! What the fuck?”

In 2020, Twitch publicly stated a zero-tolerance policy against racial slurs used for hate or harassment. However, Cenat’s usage doesn’t fall under that category.

Low Tier God believes that Cenat’s lack of marketability due to his language is the reason why Twitch has ignored his success.

“If I’m investing in Twitch, I wouldn’t want that content on the front page. Twitch should prioritize marketable streamers,” explained Low Tier God.
