Kaceytron’s Twitch ban lifted after 10 days

Kaceytron’s Twitch Channel Reinstated After 10-day Ban

Twitch streamer Kaceytron’s channel has been reinstated after the livestreaming platform initially banned her indefinitely for insensitive comments regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. The ban lasted for 10 days, as reported by StreamerBans.

Twitch initially banned Kaceytron on March 17 for violating the platform’s Terms of Service, specifically for engaging in “hateful conduct and threats of violence against a person or group of people.” The ban was a result of an insensitive comment Kaceytron made about COVID-19 a week prior.

During Rajj Patel’s stream, Kaceytron was asked if she would kiss someone with coronavirus. Her response was, “Yes, and we would leave quarantine and try to spread it as much as possible because the world would be a better place without old and poor people.”

Kaceytron later clarified that she does not support hatred towards anyone and acknowledged the joke was in poor taste.
