It was all a hoax: Sway rejoins FaZe Clan merely 3 days after social media stunt

Surprising Twist: Sway Returns to FaZe Clan After Cryptic Departure

Sway’s departure from FaZe Clan on Sept. 13 left fans shocked. The announcement provided no explanation, leaving many confused. However, it turns out that the whole ordeal was actually an elaborate social media stunt.

Initially, all fans received were cryptic tweets from Sway saying “im done” and “left @fazeclan.” He then changed his Twitter profile picture, banner, and name, going completely silent on all his social media accounts.

But just three days after his mysterious departure, Sway surprised everyone by tweeting that he has rejoined FaZe Clan today.

Accompanying his tweet was a video showing Sway lying down in a medical pod/chamber, with doctors monitoring his vital signs. They administer the GHOST energy drink, and Sway soon wakes up, transforming into “The Perfect Gamer.”

The video concludes with the words “re-introducing FaZe Sway,” as well as the announcement of his new merch, “Sway Series II.”

After this publicity stunt, Sway has returned to FaZe Clan’s roster. However, his attention-seeking tactics have faced criticism from many.

Sway joined FaZe Clan when he was just 15 years old, making him the organization’s youngest content creator at the time.

Since then, he has become a popular Fortnite streamer, with nearly 4 million subscribers on YouTube and over 3 million and 1.5 million followers on Instagram and Twitter, respectively.
