IShowSpeed’s Twitch Channel mysteriously unbanned, allowing for potential collaboration opportunities
IShowSpeed, a well-known streamer, has seen a surge in popularity globally. Recently, his Twitch channel surprisingly became active again after being suspended. Although there are no current streams or clips, the suspension message has been removed.
Since being banned from streaming on the Amazon platform in early 2021, IShowSpeed has built up an audience of over 20 million on YouTube, a significant increase from his previous 200,000 followers on Twitch. As a result, he may not be quick to return to Amazon’s platform.
An added benefit of IShowSpeed’s unbanning is the ability to collaborate with Twitch personalities once again. Banned streamers are prohibited from appearing on Twitch broadcasts, but with his account reinstated, Speed is now free to collaborate.
It’s worth noting that IShowSpeed’s initial ban came as a result of an outburst during a stream with Adin Ross in December 2021. Despite calls from prominent Twitch creators for his account to be reinstated, the banning remained in effect until now.
Twitch has expressed a willingness to reevaluate banned creators, with IShowSpeed being one of their top priorities. Given his immense popularity, the return of his Twitch channel could greatly impact the platform.
