IShowSpeed claims he’s been banned on YouTube, but fans believe it’s a prank

IShowSpeed’s Main YouTube Channel Banned: What This Means for the Popular Esports YouTuber

IShowSpeed, known for his entertaining content and almost 16 million subscribers, announced that his main YouTube channel has been immediately banned. The ban seems to have taken effect after his last stream on Sunday, Feb. 26.

According to IShowSpeed, he was banned for watching the copyrighted FIFA Dior Award Ceremony live on stream without realizing it was copyrighted. This was a mistake on his part, as he genuinely wanted to see who won as a football fan. Although he received a strike for this, he ignored it, thinking it was for a specific highlight rather than the entire stream. Had he known beforehand, he would have stopped.

It is unclear how long the ban will last or if IShowSpeed plans to contest it. If it is a lengthy ban, he may consider appealing it, although he has not mentioned his intentions regarding this matter.

Some fans speculated that his announcement of being “gone” and expressing his love for them was just another one of his pranks. IShowSpeed is known for his playful nature, so some fans are skeptical about the seriousness of the situation. However, many fans flooded the comments section expressing their sadness at his departure and hoping that he will return someday.

This announcement has caused confusion among his fans, as they are unsure if it is a genuine ban or another one of his elaborate pranks. Only time will tell if IShowSpeed will indeed be back on YouTube soon.

At this point, it remains uncertain whether this ban is permanent or temporary. If IShowSpeed returns to streaming tomorrow, it could very well be one of his best pranks yet. We’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds for Speed’s YouTube channel.
