Is there a restraining order against xQc from Adept?

XQc Keeps Quiet About Breakup Drama Amidst Surprise Marriage Claims

XQc, the popular content creator, has been noticeably silent regarding the drama surrounding his highly publicized breakup with fellow creator Adept. Despite the bizarre situation where Adept claimed ownership of XQc’s $320,000 McLaren, the breakup seemed to fade from the limelight. However, recent legal documents found by internet sleuths have raised questions about their marital status.

Despite initially denying these claims, XQc has chosen not to discuss his situation with Adept. The discovery of legal documents may shed light on the reason for his silence. Popular legal advice content creator Henry Resilient recently reviewed a “petition for divorce” that involved both XQc and Adept. Although the document was filed in November, it only gained attention in recent weeks.

Legal Documents

During a livestream, Henry Resilient analyzed the document and discovered a section containing a “request for permanent injunction.” This injunction would prevent XQc from publicly discussing their relationship or the legal proceedings with Adept.

Petition for Divorce

In Adept’s petition for divorce, this request seeks to restrict XQc from discussing the litigation on any social media platform, including his Twitch stream and YouTube account.

Restraining Order Against xQc?

In Williamson County, Texas, on November 16, a court approved a temporary restraining order against XQc, filed by Adept. This order was issued just two days after Adept’s request. According to additional court documents, the restraining order has been continued and expanded to include a provision that Adept cannot discuss the litigation on social media platforms such as Twitch and YouTube.

Restraining Order

Adept’s petition for divorce operates under the assumption of a “common law marriage,” which does not require official marriage documents. Instead, Adept must prove that they were married through other means.

There are currently no new court documents confirming whether the court has accepted Adept’s claim. For now, neither XQc nor Adept will be addressing any of these matters publicly.
