Chess Champion Hikaru Loses Big Bet on xQc vs. Logic Match
Hikaru, a five-time United States Chess champion, tuned in to watch Twitch streamers xQc and Logic compete in a chess game.
Confident in xQc’s abilities, Hikaru placed a 75,000 channel points bet on him to win. However, his prediction turned out to be wrong.
xQc was just moments away from securing a checkmate, with the win within his grasp. However, his time ran out, leading to Logic claiming the victory.
Although he believed he had won the game, xQc was a second too late in moving his piece. He even provided feedback to Logic on what had happened and offered to play another game.
Unfortunately, Hikaru’s luck didn’t improve as the matches continued.
Throughout their matches, Hikaru ended up losing the majority of his channel points from xQc’s stream.
